Kyle Busch won the FORD 300, his 30th victory in 173 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his ninth victory and 30th top-10 finish in 2009. The nine wins are tied for third-most all time in single-season victories. This is Busch's 25th top-five finish, which tied Jeff Green in 2000 for most in a single season. This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in four races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Carl Edwards finished second which was his fourth top-10 finish in five races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It is his 30th top-10 finish in 2009.
Both Busch and Edwards posted 30 top-10 finishes in 2009, the first time two drivers scored 30 top 10s in the same season in series history. |
